Most of the organizations in recent years that developed forms related to structure of grading which helps in determining the rate of pay which starts at basic level for each job or designation in the firm. Employees who are moving upwards in the firm and are rewarded on the basis of their performance evaluation are basically resultant nature that helps in evaluating their bonuses and incentives under the structure of grading. The best approach to such grading structures traditionally involves the structure of salary in ladders and steps, groups under which each family of job are determined under unique and separate scale of payment. Figure 27.1 is the best illustration of the same.
