Free vector the motion of a body without having any rotation. It means the displacement of this kind of body at any point is completely free from the vector. One more point to know is the free vector’s initial point is not fixed. Free Vector is also known as non-localized vector. When a particle moves in a straight line with a velocity vector, then it is free of vector. It can also be explained as freely moving body in a proper direction is free vector. Free vector means there is no any unique point of application.
This kind of vector is completely different than other types of vectors as sliding vector and Fixed vector where there is an initial or fixed point. This is completely opposite of Fixed vector. Only after a proper knowledge of diagram a student can easily understand the difference and exact knowledge about this type of Vector.
