Fixed Vector is a type of vector where the position or the initial point is fixed.
This kind of vector has a perfect location which is its initial fixed point and thus it is also known as localized or fixed localized vector. A number of vectors as a, b, c and d in a proper direction get started from the initial point O. This is known as an application of the unique point. Here, the force’s action on a body, which is deform able, is identified by fixed vector. These fixed vectors have a unique point of application.
Fixed vector can easily be understood with exact diagram and this is completely different or opposite than free vectors. As the initial point is bounded and thus fixed vector is also called bound vector. Initial point is important to show to explain that these vectors have an exact point or a tail or a fixed tail.
