In case of large power networks, there becomes quite a difficulty in determining a strong line between power network distribution system as well as transmission systems. It is this distribution system that includes power which has to be transmitted to local areas and connected to a greater power level.
The distribution system is specifically classified as: Direct Current and Alternating current with dual systems of two or three thread format. The series that is found in this case are either open or closed loop or a combination of both. Therefore, methods of connectivity have to be given special care while distinction.
In such cases, phases range from two to three to a maximum of five wire levels. The systems placed here are ring system, feeder, and main system as well as loop and network system.
A clear distinction is of utmost important for best results.
