by Nov 8, 2016Homework Solutions

Every child understands the pain of going through their homework hour after hour, sitting at home. Be it homework from school or homework from tuition, every child has the stress of completing it on time. It is understandable also, what makes them hate homework so much.
You probably hate doing homework. But as we all know, doing homework is very important because it helps to recapitulate whatever you learnt at school. Moreover, doing homework also helps you to get prepared easily and very fast for your examinations.
All you need is a little bit of effective planning and a top notch schedule to complete your homework on time.
Here are some ways to schedule your homework in such a way that it gets completed on time:

  1. Make your homework your priority

First and foremost your homework should be your priority before anything else. When you come back from school, after a bit of rest, make sure that you complete your work. Many young students do everything under the sky, except their homework.
Decide for yourself how much time you have on hand each day and plan your tasks according to that. Think about what you have to do on specific days. Whether or not, you have some other activities so that you can complete your homework before moving on to something else. Don’t make the mistake of thinking your homework is not important.

  1. Use your free time

If you are extremely tired after all day and you cannot do your work, rest for the night and get up early the next morning. After a good night’s sleep, you will feel refreshed and better. Complete your homework at that time.
Even if on someday you have nothing else to do, utilize an hour or two to at least finish a part of your homework, so that you don’t have the pressure of completing it in a huge rush. Even when you are in school and you have some free period, use that time frame to complete most of your work so that you do not have much to do when you come back home.

  1. Make a list of your tasks

Daily make a list of what you have to do and when you have to do it. Make sure you go through the entire day following that schedule.
Put a tick mark beside the homework you think are the most important and need to be completed as soon as possible. Divide your homework evenly for all the subjects.
Plan carefully so that you do not miss out on anything. Keep in mind your school, tuitions and other chores. Having a clear plan and following that plan will help you complete your homework well ahead of time.

  1. Minimum distractions

An effectual way to get your work completed on time is to tone down the distractions around you, when you are doing your homework. With the television on and other people doing different things, it is extremely hard to concentrate on your work. It’s not just about completing the homework somehow, but you need to do it correctly also. For that, you need as few distractions as possible.
Keep away your laptops and mobiles and switch off your television, then sit down in a quiet place and complete your work. You will not only finish it fast, but you will be able to do your work properly.

  1. Incomplete tasks

Aside from your daily to-do list, you should also make a list of your incomplete works and projects that will require a significant amount of time to complete. By doing other homework, you should not forget about the big tasks that are left.
If you only keep on following the important homework for your daily routine, you will forget about other works which are just as important. You also should write your due date for homework. This will help you to have a sense of when to finish and avoid last minute rushes.

  1. Dividing your homework

This is extremely useful, especially for large assignments that you may have. Dividing your homework helps you to complete it fast in a much lesser amount of time. If you try to complete a huge load of your work you will not be able to complete it and at the end of the day you will end up exhausting yourself. It is better to divide up the work.
Suppose, if you have 30 sums to do in your Maths homework. Divide the work into 10 sums each. After completing 10 sums do something else and then resume the original work after that to make yourself comfortable.

  1. First things first

Give importance to the homework which is required within a short period of time. If you have a home task that is required next week and you do it now, whereas tomorrow’s homework is still left, do not do that. Many people are there who do such a thing. Prioritize the homework which is required tomorrow or that week itself, before moving on to the next.

  1. Always stick to the plan

If you want to complete your homework on time, stick to your plan. You will be able to do your work properly and finish on time. It will be of no use if you plan your routine but don’t follow it. So when you have made your plan stick to it!
